Hello once again.

Hello once again faithful readers, and a happy monday to you. And a very happy halloween to you as well I trust your day has been successfull I hope. If not then why?????
Today I spent some time with a new member of my team who has just come on board and is raring to go, we spent some time doing a quick recap of his skills training. And answering any questions or concerns that he may have, but most importantly was to set out a plan of action over the next month. And agreeing on some goals for him to focus on. What I have learned from part experience is that overloading new team members will not help them to grow successfully businesses, but that team members really need to learn one thing and one thing only and get good at it.
So we have cone up with an action plan for him to gather six customers and two team members with my help, what's more I have assured him that I am always there for him, and he is my priority, and my success is determined on his success.
One thing that I did say is that he must never ever feel that however little niggle he has he must phone me with any questions that he feels relevent and it doesn't matter how many times in the day he calls that it doesn't matter how little the matter is, what I believe that I have done is cemented a good source of trust and support. I advised no I don't know everything but I'm here to keep him on the right track.
We also discussed list building and following the system and sticking to it, the importance in team building which appears now relevant is duplication and how duplication will help to grow a strong business.
So what are my plans tomorrow??? Follow up appointments and looking for new businesses, I have figured that the presentation takes very little ti e to do and really I do need to be speakng to more people about it.
So how many distributors can I get in november well I only need another three top line, as my brother is on board in a fortnight. So I guess I better get done to it.

Another great start to the week-

Well here we are again readers, another week is here I wonder how all your businesses are going in what ever you do??????
I personally have had a great yet challenging week so far but boy its worth it. As challenges are what keep us young and the mind active.
It started yesterday when I went out for a one to one with another member of my networking chapter, to find out more about about their business. Now here is a hot tip to learn if your networking with other businesses. You must have a selfless attitude and as a cardinal rule you must never ever, network with a mind of how to get business for yourself, but how to get business for other people. It is when you adopt that philosophy that automatically you will find you will automatically get business back. Let me explain by telling my story.
Yesterday while having a meeting with my fellow member I always first like to tell them about my business second (never be too eager to explain about your business.) And secondly I like to do this as a mark of respect to my fellow business men (women.)
So the person I was in a meeting with was an electrician by trade, and I took done a lot of information about his business and how I might be able to get him more business in the future. Now when ever I have one to one's in my network meetings on wednesdays we are not allowed to actively recruit during meetings. Only genuibe business is allowed to be passed. But I do like to use one to ones because not only does it get to explain about my products, but also about the opportunity because you never know who may sign up in this game.
Something that I definately was taught yesterday, because although I thought that my colleague knew all about my business it turns out that he in fact knew very little. So when I presented the products I could tell that he was more than impressed and I could actually see him thinking and utilising the services for himself.
But what was more interesting was the fact when I presented the business opportunity to him and asked if he would like to get started he didn't hesitste to say yes. Which I was Impressed by his confidence in the company although he had only learned of it ten minutes before hand. So two things again are know, like and trust, and people will make snap decisions where necessary that they feel it would fit.
So then further to that I had another appointment with a consultant regarding my back. So during the consultation, he asked me what I did which I said to him that I saved people money and explained how my product worked, then he asked if we provided services for businesses and I said yes. Another customer appointment in the making, and honest I never even went in to promote my business I didn't really.

success

Hello again readers. Tomorrow is the first day that I have accomplished and made my first wage being self employed. I sit here this evening watching a dvd, and yet I can't concentrate on it. So as a rule ice decided that with every months wage I will reward myself with something. So I subscribed to a online magazine called, (wait for it now.) SUCCESS Magazine. It's a magazine made by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs. And subscribed for two years I'm really excited for the first edition of it. Apart from that prospecting businesses goes on, and follow ups. Marketing my services and products to the public. Creating my mission statement which I don't think there has, ever been a better time than now to tell people about what we have on offer. The boat has not left there is still time but if I don't do it now the. I never will. I'm so excited about the next few months and what they have to offer. But still I need to fill my diary up quicker. Which is why I have decided to double the pace. After a chat with my accountant he indeed agreed businesses are the hardest hit. My approach is almost perfect and the hunt goes on.

can't sleep

I have had the worst nights sleep my mind has been going overload, on all the things I need to do in the forth coming weeks. They say Margaret Thatcher survived on four hours sleep a night is that why she caused so much chaos to this country I wonder?? She was hardly progressive I hope I'm not following suit. So today I want to book two one to ones with my fellow team members I also have a few other calls to make and a solar panel installation guy coming, which I'm doing a martini presentation with. My mind is on overload I know come this afternoon I will be dead on my feet. I guess its just the price to pay to become successful.

piggy bonds and other sorts of things.

Hey readers. I hope that your having a fantastic week so far. Today I got a lovely surprise in the post. At the moment the my company is running a promotion called piggy bonds. When I go out and sign up customers and distributors, I get a little or lots of scratch cards called piggy bonds. When they came through the post today, it was like Christmas had come early. What landed on my mat was this wad of scratch cards and I won lots of lovely cash. So I'm very excited for next month to see how many more.piggy scratch cards I will get. Today I also had a customer appointment with the lady I went to see about the solar panels. While I was there I met her dad a really nice chap and we sat and chatted for a while. I found out that he was gong to be the guy installing the solar panrls. And I mentioned the advantage he would have by becoming a distributor. Needless to say he was very interested and I have to have a follow up call with him next week. Now if he signs up that is worth four piggy bond scratch cards. I wonder how many people I can get until the promotion ends??? A wonderful day indeed.

The last weeks worth of acivities.

Hello again readers,

Now its sunday evening and im fired wired and inspired for the week ahead. It thought it would be good to let you all know about the last weeks worth of activities. I feel that the week has gone so quickly.
I was honoured to be invited to a meeting with Mo Pemberton my upline senior group leader in the company, over at Lytham St Annes. I was so inspired by Mo's story and thrilled at the chance to go and meet some new people that I decided to go across.
The meeting was held at the leyland hotel just off the M6 and there was about 22 members there. I learned first hand all about solar energy and where my business is best in the market, as solar energy is sure to be the way forward.
I was also asked to speak about business club customer gathering, which I gave the same talk as I did in the saturday team event, so when I finished I was overwhelmed to see a rush of raised hands and a lot of questions which I hope I gave my best answers to.
Once the meeting hand ended I had some phenominal feedback from the people in the group some saying it was like a breath of fresh air, I really could not say how overwhelmed I have been with positive comments. Clearly it does pay to go the distance, no matter what if you get such positive results that spur you on.
I also have been networking alot with other members and businesses alike to find out about their businesses. For instance on thursday I went to my first event at the mussel club a social networking site but also for businesses. They were holding a exhibition on the different businesses, so I walked round and got to speak to a few members in the region. Each stand had a competition where you would put a business card in the jar to win a prize. I was most fortunate to find out that I have won a profile and coaching session. Great time to meet someone new show her how my business works and ask her honest opinion, seeing she is in the training and coaching field.
I also have a presentation to do in the morning with someone that I know who is wanting a change in her life, so I literally have told her im looking for people like that, who are willing to go the distance.
Today also has been a great day we had a home meeting which we covered some aspects of goal setting, solar energy and learned new things. One member of the team updated our facebook page and said was great to be with positive like minded people.
So whats my plans this week, my brother has just come into the business so I will take time to train and coach him, to my level. Primarily will be presentations and customer gathering as always although one thing I will try and promise, I will try is that I will update more through the week.

Its been a few days.

Hello Readers,

Yes im still here still striving and fighting the good fight. And the last few days has been busy busy busy. Literally I have been prospecting a lot of people about becoming customers. Dont be shocked but alot of it was without any success. This happens from time to time but the key thing is dont lose faith. And also sometimes you just try too hard. So much so that ive got a little story to tell.
A few days ago I contacted some people that I know to ask them if there was anyone that they knew that dealt in solar energy. A good colleague of mine willingly emailed me some contact details for a guy who had just started with solar panels.
So I rang him and the conversation went something like this.

"Hello can I speak to ********"

"Yes this is ********."

"Hello you dont know me but I was given your details off *********, I hear your dealing in solar energy, is that right?"

"Yes it is."

"If I could show you a away to have an adavantage over your competition would you meet me for ten minutes so I can show you."

Well afterwards he agreed and put me in touch with his assistant. And said I could go at anytime really, so following a network meeting this morning, I decided to go and see her. So this I expected to be a warm referral when I went in. I asked to speak to the lady and explained who I was and that she was expecting me. Which she looked completely blank, immediately this turned into my uncomfortable zone of cold calling. I just thought deal with it you have come this far.
So I explained who I was and the conversation I had with her colleague and would she give me ten minutes.
She agreed and I went through the business and presentation, which she agreed would be of benefit but could not give me a decision immediately. However what she did say without me even realising at first is that she needed to take advantage of all the services for herself. And there was me with a focus of going in as a distributor and she is becoming a customer. Amazing how things pan out to say the least.

its a late one I know.

Well another busy day folks, but today I've been list building. Key thing in this business is have a list. A list of those that you know personally and those you don't. So what have I done well immediately put it into practice and got calling people, simply said I'm in the business of helping people save money or make money, and what interests them more. My calls tonight took me to my cousin who I have not seen for a while. Well would you believe when I got in there in the kitchen she had the biggest walk in sunbed, on the planet. And from it I saw a great big electrical cable coming from it, so I couldn't resist and said I bet that costs a pretty packet to run. Well you can imagine we got talking and one thing led to another and yes another appointment another customer sign up. So moral of the story be observant and talk to every one.

Good Morning and a happy Monday to you.

Good Morning,

Happy Monday to you all, if your thinking why am I so happy for it being a Monday. And you hate the fact that Mondays are the start of your five day week from hell. You need to do something drastic and change your attitude, by not starting your week to plan for success, you are more likely to prepare to fail. 
Today I have an appointment with a business for Ten o clock, then I have some calls to make and I have my letters ready to go out and visit another ten businesses today. 
I am going to adopt the same attitude that I did last week and the week before by not going in as a salesman, but by going in as a fellow businessman. 
I will adopt the right posture that my business deserves, after all my business is worth a lot of money. 
What are your plans this week if you have any doubts in your mind readers, any doubts at all you need to get rid of that doubt, because its the starting point for failure and not success. 
Go out there see people with confidence and posture, and don't be scared appointments don't necessarily have to be frightening, they can also be fun. A fellow colleague told me something that I now do when im making an appointment. I say to the person, ok I take two sugars and milk in my coffee, and chocolate digestives are my favourite. And you know what it works also.
Ok my list is up to date I have read twenty pages of my book im wired, fired and inspired and going to have the most successful week ever.

And just when I thought sundays were the day of rest.

Happy Sunday,

I trust its been a good one, what have you been doing, gardening, or spending time with the family?
Alan and I were invited to his cousins for sunday lunch with the family, which I was thrilled to bits to be going to
as its nice to get together.
After being there for a couple of hours, a call came through on my mobile, it was one of my existing customers.
She advised that she was opening a hair salon a few villages from me and she needed a phone line and her energy sorted, as quickly as possible.
I asked if tomorrow would be too quick to see her, remember early bird catches the worm. She was so impressed that she had also dropped in that she had another three referrals for businesses to give me.
Yet another step closer to fifty plus club. I know that my focus is going to be solely this monrh on fifty plus club. I want so much to reach this by the end of the month as Stephan has told me, if I make it I will be going on stage for the leaders conference next month in manchester.
Althought that is not going to be my primary goal this month because I dont believe it is something that I can create and generate with urgency. So what I have decided to make this months goal is to be able to afford a new double bed for the guest bedroom, as it is currently my office and I live in a three bedroom semi with only technically one bedroom.
So I now have 29 days to succeed my goal 8 customers again is what im aiming for. Lets see where this one takes me.

Saturday event

Hey Readers,

What a fabulous Saturday today has been, the weather has been b.e a.utiful.
As you know today was spent in a team huddle which is held at least once a month or once every other month.
I was asked today to provide my story so far of my successes over the last month and have attatched a picture of myself for you all to see.
I love going to the team huddles, because the little nuggets of information you get are very valuable from top people working the business.
So what was the main thing that I picked up about in the business, well just like my first article on here about creating a urgency, I wanted also to look in the recruitment side of things aswell.
So I was speaking with Maureen my upline senior group leader, and what she told me was so powerful that I had to take a moment to actually let it sink in.
Now before I tell you what it is, let me remind you my business has to be simple, it has to be duplicatable, and obviously profitable.
And what I was told was none the least all three of the above things. The secret to recruiting is getting a lot of people to do a little.
So I really need to have another one to one meeting to plan my strategy, as im going to approach fifty plus club soon and I also want team building to play a massive part in the business aswell. But I dont want to rock the boat, because when I rock the boat, my activity drops and so does my moral. which means no income being earned. And no blog to update, and I am really enjoying this right now.

Boy its warm.

Third and final post for today. While I'm sitting in the garden this evening. My new business cards came today that I ordered, now normally the cards that a lot of distributors order, are pig shaped cards. But what I'm now finding in the business is they are becoming common, so some people I will give a card, and they will say "oh how cute." But one guy I actually have a card to today actually said "oh not another one of these." And instantly discarded it, did he mean business cards in general I wonder? Tomorrow is very exciting its a team huddle in newton aycliffe with a very special guest. A good friend of mine aswell called maureen, she is a senior group leader in her own right. And she is coming over to share some hints and tips, with all of us to help is with our business. So I'm off to bake a pineapple upside down cake like I promised. And will be sure to post about it on my return, ok this is deffo my last post for today.

If you can't help those closest to you, who can you help.

As you already know I started to update my list, the top of it was my brother. One of the things that I was told is don't exclude anyone, it doesn't matter what they think of you. So right at the top of my list was my brother who I speak to from time to time. So I picked up the phone to call him, and found that he was going through a bit of a bad time. With no job and a one in the future becoming unlikely. I mentioned the business before to him but he just shrugged it off, saying that it was not really for him. The interesting thing was he said the only thing he could think of.doing was a job where he had to speak to people. And that he felt more than comfortable doing it. So I mentioned the opportunity again to him but this time I felt that he really listened to what I was saying. I told him where I predicted where my business was taking me, the fun that I was having the people I was meeting, and how slowly slowly it was making a change in my life. So he started to ask some questions and the more answers I gave him the more interested he became. So he has decided to move over here close by, and join with the company and build his own business. This makes me happy for a number of reasons, I feel that I have someone close by to work with. I'm helping my brother get his life back on track. And we are both going to be on the road to success. So I guess the moral to this is where you identify situations to generally help people, and your sincere and trusted, you will find the answers your looking for.

Career opportunity presentations

Does your network marketing do Career opportunity presentations, this would be a local monthly meeting where you can take someone along to see the opportunity for themselves. I went to my local one last night, I confess that I havent been to one in a while.
But it was worth every minute for the little nuggets of information, that I get from them. And also it rekindles your fire and desire to carry on with the business.
I was fortunate enough to be in a small class with one of the top earners in the company, who was more than happy to give us some information on how he built his business.
He has over 20000 group customers and climbing, yet if you met him he would not boast or brag about it, infact he is very humble and has a genuine attitude towards helping others.
All the information he gave my head never lifted up from my notebook, as there was so much information he had to give about where to find people, who may want to earn a extra income or become customers.
What I learned is that list building in this business is key, your list is your business plan. And with no list you have no business, it is the key thing that your business revolves around.
Not just for your business  but when you introduce people into your business, you will want them to duplicate what you do. So I am glad that I have a list which is in a hard back book that I can count on. But the interesting and brilliant thing that I found out last night, is that there is no limit to the list.
Its people who know people, and I learned a way to do this. Please find a short example below.

Lets take the name Ted for example, lets call him Ted Imaginary.

Ted Imaginary,

Who are his parents?
Phil and Sue Imaginary,

Where does Ted Work?
Imaginarium elementry school.

Who Else works there that you know.
Mary Jones.

What sport does Ted Play
Tennis

Who does he play with?
Phil Smith.

Now from that one name you had on your list, you more than trebled the amount of names from that one person. Now how many names do you have on that list there are other questions you can ask like, who else has the same surname as Ted? Or what charity does Ten support? Who do you know that supports the same charity? Who is his Brother? Who is his sister? Do you see readers your list is endless and therefore we can update it every day with new names of people. So if you have read this post and you have time do this one thing and do it now go out there, get a hard back book and start to make a list of everyone you know I bet using these techniques and methods you will fill pages before you know it.

To steam clean or rather not you end up black, and I got a coldsore coming on.

Hello Readers, I've done my prospecting for today, I have added on my list of things I want a cleaner. After doing my prospecting I got home and steam cleaned the kitchen. I am now covered in filth with an aching back. Which got me thinking, if I am to build the ultimate lifestyle, I need to live it so I need to work harder, because I just decided to hire a cleaner as soon as possible. I am not cut out for steam cleaning a oven its nearly killed me. But at least its done so I'm off to spend time with the puppies.

When your not busy.

Ok this also happens in network marketing, so we covered short term and placing urgency, if your following this and doing it hopefully you will be getting some pretty impressive results.
But let us remember why we are doing this business, for most its freedom and a great lifestyle to go with it, For others its a few hundred pounds a month extra to pay the bills.
Now what are your long term goals, what do you want in life that you will have be being consistent for the next 3,4,5...10 years.
That sounds like a long way off and a lot of work ahead, and ok yes it will be hard I know that it will be hard, but everyday I become more confident, more ideas are entering my head.
I also keep a book what I call the book of dreams, when I see a picture of something that I really want I cut it out and stick it into the book.
Then when I remind myself why I am doing this business I can reach for the book and remind myself again, that this is the reason why I am running my business.
Here is another great top tip when did you last ring your customers and ask them if they are happy with the products and services, they are taking you never know they may want to share it with  other members of their family.
Why not give them a call today and have a chat with them.

Forgive us our trespasses and lead us not into thowing spanners in the works.

Well what a fabulous day it has been again today.
I officially believe that I have no problems with customer gathering, I went out today to walk the dogs and spoke to five people and dropped in the conversation, that I work part time but for full time pay.
I find it easy to relate to dog walkers mainly due to the fact that I instantly can build a good rapport over dogs.
Anyway so I gave them and business card and told them that it was my job to help people save money or make money.
All of them said "how do you do that??"
Which my perfect platinum answer was oh I cant go into it now, the puppies are getting restless my details are on the card give me a call if your interested, and I would love to meet you for coffee to have a chat about it.
Now I don't know if its just the sun shining and the fact its been a beautiful day, but everyone has seemed to be in such a brilliant mood. The weather certainly leaves and impression.

Ok so second thing I did was a follow up call to the minister that I was talking about the other day, I confirmed the appointment that I had with him, and made an agreement. Which I dont know who was more shocked, I said to him if he can refer people to me from his congregation to sign up as customers, I would donate my finders fee to the church.
He was immediately interested and I was quite shocked because I didn't think he would be that interested.
Which in turn he replied "I will be sure to get onto that straight away." I await my phone to start ringing.

Lastly had a plumber come to the house today, I am going to take a massive leap forward and get a combi boiler fitted, as the last two winters have been so bad, I didnt want to go through another freezing cold house.
The guy who came was really nice, self employed local business owner. He gave me a quote and started telling me about savings that I can make on gas.
"Im really glad you said that, because I do the cheapest utilities around." I said.
"Really how does that work." Said the plumber,
I then passed him a dvd and told him about a good little income earner, that was a brilliant bolt on to what he already did.
Heee Heeeee another follow up on friday.
Then after that I got talking to my neighbour up the road, she told me she had finally sold her house and she had to be out in 28 days, as she sold at auction. But had bought a house down the road but it was in need of much work. So I said to her....
"Right if thats the case you need all the money you can get, so I can help you save money or make money. what would you prefer."
Another appointment tomorrow. Is it me or is this business just too simple, its becoming as regular as me updating this blog actually.

Oh what a beautfiul morning.

Good Morning Campers Hi de Hi,

What a beautiful morning it is this morning sun is shining forecast a warm 23 degrees very unusual at this time of year.
This morning I went to my local networking event that I do every wednesday morning. Now if your in network marketing, the key thing that you have to do is this network. How can you have a business if you don't network with people and tell them about what you do. Some groups are costly and require far more commitment than others, but its a case of finding out where your local businesses congregate and getting to know them.
You are the spokesperson in your network marketing business, the director, salesman, accountant, distributor. So you represent your whole company, is it not important to make a good impression then when speaking to people.
Here is a tip I have learned though, if you plan on going to these network events you need to go in with a mindset of how to get business for them. The reason you have to do this is because if you go in with this mindset, fellow members will automatically give you business three fold. Statistically its proven aswell.
So what are my plans the rest of today, well I have some follow up calls to do, I have a guy coming to give me a quote on a new boiler. I am already wearing a recruiting hoody so hopefully I will pick up some conversation.
I didnt sleep well last night so because its a beautiful day I am going to take the dogs out for a walk and hopefully get talking to some dog walkers, that might be interested in a extra income.

Some like it hot, some dont.

I had an appointment with a potential distributor on the phone at 6.30pm for a follow up call.
She works through the day 8-4pm so I decided to text her to confirm and move it a little earlier, as I have an appointment with a life insurance guy (yet another prospect yes.)
She text back and advised that she had to go and see her mother in wales due to something unexpected.
Two things you learn from this.
Good job I confirmed otherwise I would have wasted my time.
Dont take ages to follow up. Statistics prove that every day your prospect loses around 25% interest. Now she could come back to me but, I will have to wait and see.
In the meantime I ordered my bathroom carpet, I was very impressed the owner remembered me, and we arranged the colour style for the bathroom etc.
Afterwards I said that I would be coming back to him for my stair carpet, but I had to arrange to get a combi boiler fitted. He immediatly recommended a firm over the road who did just the thing.
So I asked him if I could leave some information about my business and follow up with him on friday. And now I have yet another prospect on my list, that I believe we can do alot of business together in the future. So he is coming round tomorrow at 2 to give me a estimate for all the works. I just need to find the money, which means my urgency just went up and I have to work harder. So I need to prospect another ten businesses, I think I will pay some industrial estates a visit tomorrow perhaps.

And I thought it might be a good idea to publish some video's on the web, of my day to day activity but thus still updating my blog.

It's amazing how quickly things change.

I've been back on the wagon a little over three weeks now, doing the business and one thing that I am noticing, is that I'm finding tv, incredibly tedious. I have over 900 channels of sky and not one of them I am finding of any interest, literally it is decaying my mind. All different channels, shopping, religion, movies, entertainment. And what's more most of them are repeat after repeat after repeat, you know what I find worse is daytime ads. They are awful its all bingo and accident compensation. How can anyone watch this is a mystery to me I hate soaps, and talk shows. My partner loves a programme called come dine with me but never cooks a dish that was made. Then why watch it. So today my fellow readers I'm going to inspire myself, with books and cds, and fill my year with knowledge and not nonsense.
Further more readers if you find some words don't make sense is because I actually update this blog aswell while im on the road, on my mobile and it uses predictive text apologies.

An interesting day to say the least.

So as it goes in network marketing, the business solely relies upon word of mouth and customer referrals.

Last week my dad (who is one of my customers) called me up and asked me if I would ring a priest of a church who was in much need of saving money.
So I rang him and a appointment was arranged today at his church in Newcastle. For his home and the hope of signing the church up as well.
I went along to see him and was impressed it was a lovely old church based in the heart of Newcastle.
We almost immediately got down to business, I did my presentation with him and provided him with a quotation for his energy.
I really did not expect what happened next when what is normally a basic, easy sign up turned into complex questions about kilowatt hours and tariffs, everything that I normally avoid. Once I answered all of his questions I also mentioned last, that I could arrange two special offers for him one was a ten percent discount if he takes four services or more, or fixing his energy tariff for the next three years.
The meeting ended up with him advising that he wanted to look at the figures more closely. And although I felt a little of me died and a bit miserable, because I had traveled all that way to see him. I held my posture and made myself look busy (even though I wasn't and got out of there.)
I got in the car and marked in my diary for next week to arrange a follow up with him. When I went to drive I way I got a glimpse of him in my rear view mirror running after my car.
So I stopped and let him catch up. Thinking that I had forgotten something (which I nearly always do.) He came to the window and said that he looked at the figures quickly whilst I had walked out and realized that the amount he is saving is significant.
Now I could have gone straight back in and signed him up, but I appear desperate to no one so I have rearranged the appointment for later in the week. And whats more he is leaving virgin to join us, and wants to sign the church up for his business utilities.
So my readers here is the moral, show patience and understanding, and hold the posture your business deserves.

This evenings conference call.

Every week Utility Warehouse do a conference call on a sunday evening, it lasts around 20 minutes. 
Now not being the most self disciplined people I confess that I was not listening to it for a while. When really twenty minutes on a sunday evening does not really take a great deal of time just to sit and listen on the phone. 

So what have I learned, on a conference that I was at over a week ago the company advised that it had just introduced the best feed in tariffs for those in the uk. For those of you who are (FIT) virgins. Feed in tariffs are for those people who have solar panels on their roofs and energy providers pay them for the amount of energy produced a quarter. 
Very interesting to know that a lady made £730 in a quarter without even thinking about it. And absolutely certain that its something that is not to be sniffed at. 
So learning that we do the best (FIT) in the uk makes it very easy for me to say to any person, with solar panels how would you like to have more money than your already getting off your current supplier. 
Awesomeness for sure !!!!!!!!!!!!!

So what's my urgency.

Ok so I mentioned about my one to one with Sharon. And regarding urgency as I say long term goals in this business, neither do short term goals. Unless you put some urgency on them, these are the things that are top priority. Now think for a moment what's your top priority, and is it urgent. Is it so important to you that you have to have it done as soon as possible. Have you found it yey then you have found your sense of urgency, congratulations you have found a need to carry out your business. Or is it harder to find your urgency, don't worry because when I was asked it took me a while to work it out aswell. But when I worked it out, it was like electric or like a magnet drawing you. You instantly go into focus, and you can't put your mind on anything else. My sense of urgency was to get my hallway decorated, I have lived with it for 18 months now. And it was one of those things that was getting me depressed, so now my urgency is focused. I have chosen the wallpaper and the carpet. I know in my mind how it will look, and wild horses couldn't stop me. So here are photos of what I'm currently living with. But I'm more excited to tell you of the finished masterpiece.

The art of sundays.

The art of a sunday is more or less the same in may parts of the world. 

Christian folk believe it is the day of rest, as god rested on the 7th day. Thus Christians also rest on the 7th day. Customary traditions like making the Sunday roast for the family. 
Doing things in the house that need doing, but what we tend to forget is that Sundays are indeed an art. Because the things we mean to do on a Sunday now are spread over a 7 day week. Because we find it easier to spread the time over a week than cram it into a day. 
We lose focus of our intention as everything has to become a priority, taking the rubbish out. Cleaning the house, doing the washing, washing the car. And when we list all of these things onto a sheet of paper, it is without surprise that we are unable to cram all of these things into one day. 
So Sundays in my conclusion is more a day for time, time to free yourself of the things you cram into a week, some folk believe that Sundays are boring, others find it is the best day of the week. 

My sundays are a normal working day, today whilst decorating the bathroom, i thought it necessary to call along to my local carpet shop dealer to look for a new bathroom carpet. In nine years I have never ever called into my local carpet dealer, and thought it was high time that I should. 
He presented me with a sample of very high quality bathroom carpet, and the price was impressive. Now I know I could go to my local diy store and buy a ready made one at less than half the price. But now in my life I believe in quality not quantanty. 
Whilst speaking to the owner I dropped in about the discounted carpet shop that had opened over the road, and that I would be far more likely to shop here, than that of over the road. Because they bought in bulk and the quailty was not ask good. 
Now remember that being in network marketing the key is forging relationships, I also happened to drop in that I was also a local business man, now the owner was interested. He felt more at ease talking to me as he could associate with me as a fellow business man. I happened to drop into the conversation that I could save him a significant amount of money on his utilities, we agreed on a price in the meantime on the carpet and I have to go and see him tomorrow to give him the measurements, I will also be able to leave him with some information and follow up, a new business to sign up in the making. 
This is the pure art of my sundays.

So what happened to kick start it off.

When I was in my prime.in the business, I was in my prime. Customer gathering was not a problem, I could find customers anywhere, I was a high flyer doing one thing and getting good at.it. Now I'm going to say that again, doing one thing and getting good at it. Then getting fat ahead of myself I started recruiting people into my team and it all got out of hand. An unproductive team and a customer base that was drying up, because I  was so hacked off with it all caused over a years worth of unproductivity. I was lazy, depressed and just could not be bothered.
I was still going to some of the events but to be truthful, my heart was not in it. So in July I was giving it some thought to get back involved with the business. When on a Sunday a few weeks ago I got a call off sharon, my group leader.
She said that she was on her way back from a conference with a guy called Tom Barrett, and it was so inspirational she had booked for next year straight away, she said that she felt it would be of benefit to me. . And asked if I would commit to.going on the same conference next year to going to the conference.
I agreed although my heart was still not in it but Sharon did end the conversation saying, that by that time I would at least be a level up and thus, it would be worth it.
The next day the business was stuck in my head, so I emailed Sharon, to ask for a one to one by Wednesday.
Wednesday came and so had the one to one, I poured my heart out and said it was such a struggle to do the business as I could see.my goals, but because I didn't need to work I didn't feel the need to do it straight away.
Sharon sat and listened and empathised and told me something, that hit me like a slap in the face.
She showed me that its ok to do the business but if I had no sense of urgency how would I succeed. She then asked me to think of something that I needed to put some urgency on, I thought and thought and my mind was blank. As far as I could see so had every thing I needed.
The only thing I could think of was I wanted my hallway decorating, and it would be nice if I could ear on the money to.do it.
Then all of a sudden BANG it hit me, I had a purpose to do this business all of a sudden. And together we devised a plan to help me get to my Target of 250 pounds.
Then all of a sudden things have changed I've been on the phone calling people,.speaking to new and existing businesses, getting appointments, and signing up new customers. My diary is again full and I've found my one thing I'm good at and the rest can take care of its self. Five appointments I've had this last week and a possible recruit for my team in nottingham I have neared my target. I can see that hallway being decorated soon, and I earned the money for it.

I can't sleep.

Ok I've previously tried to keep a blog and failed miserably. Down to sheer laziness.
The purpose of trying to keep this blog, is to do a year in the life of running a network marketing business. Why????
Because people say it doesn't work and I say I don't believe them.
So I can't guarantee that I will update it every day but I will try.
Why can't I update it every day, well due to the simple fact, that when you have a off day it can lead to a week or even a month.
On the other hand what I hope to do is look back on this blog, for the good moments, and hope that they will push it even further.
So about me, my name is Darren Johnson, I'm now 32 years old, up until July I worked a full time job. Which like a high percentage of population, I hated my job, and I really wanted to leave.
I had a bad months in June where I lost my dog Sam out adorable golden Labrador, who was nearly seven.

I got up at quarter to six to let him out, while I was making coffee, when within seconds he had a freak accident and broke his back. Having to get him put to sleep, was the hardest decision I have ever had to make. Enclosed is a photo of him.
After having lost Sam my world literally fell apart, you see I have no children and had Sam ever since he was a puppy. Dogs are a member of the family and are just as important. You see if you give a dog your heart, they will give you theirs.
So where am I going with this, as a surprise, the day before my birthday, I was given two adorable puppies, called paddy and max. See the photo attached, I figured that having two and working full time, I wouldn't feel as guilty leaving them.
I used to hate leaving Sam all alone in the house all day with no company, and still I feel guilty about it.

So for the first fortnight things were ok with paddy and max being on their own. But when they picked up a bug and were being sick all over.
The look on their faces told me they needed me, so I made a decision that something had to change right now.
I went into my job and quit, a bit crazy you might think, well not really as my other half has a good job so the loss in salary was not a huge deal. We can still get by but now we have to be more careful.
So where is all this leading????
Please be patient with me, as I have to bring my story up to date, before I can make my hopefully regular blog entries.
So realising that I could get by I also have a lettings business that I have with my father. Whilst working full time all that I could think about was leaving my job and going self employed.
For years I dreamed about being my own boss, that working for myself would give me a sense of achievement. And not being continuously ridiculed, about work not being up to scratch.
So I started in lettings and it was fine for a while, bit the problem was one of two things, I still had to leave the dogs, and I didn't enjoy the work the way I thought I would.
It's a true fact that you should never work with family, because you don't agree.on anything. Decisions are made without you and you feel awkward asking for money.
I knew it was time for a change, and here is where my story is beginning. I have been involved in a network marketing business for three years now, I have picked it up and put it down so many times.
But everything now is pointing in the direction, for me to build my network marketing business.
Now if you don't know what network marketing is readers, then Google it. If you found this blog then you can find Google.research it and come to your own conclusions. The company I work with is utility warehouse and probably does the most boring things you ever heard of gas, electric, phone, internet and mobile.
Not the most dazzling products, I know but they are the ultimate consumables, and people these days need these products to get by.
For every customer I sign up I get paid off them forever, so its simple the more work I do, the more I get paid.
